It’s the news and it’s breaking folks. Yesterday ASUS made it known that the 990FX motherboards will support AMD’s FX-9000 processors (up to 2400Mz). Here’s what’s up: The 990FX motherboards have AM3+ sockets which are geared towards AMD’s extreme-performance processors. Apparently, you’ll need a 1200W PSU and liquid cooling system to run these CPUs. Worth it, I should say.
