2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you visit our website, the server automatically logs technical access data (IP address, pages visited, date/time, browser type, operating system, referrer URL). This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in ensuring reliable website operation). Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days. A data processing agreement (DPA) with Hetzner is in place.

3. Analytics — Matomo (Cookieless)

This website uses Matomo, a self-hosted open-source web analytics tool. Matomo operates without cookies (cookieless tracking). No cookies are stored on your device and no information is accessed from your device.

Data collected includes: pages visited, time of access, referrer URL, browser and operating system, and an anonymized IP address (last 2 bytes removed).

All data is processed on our own server in Germany. No data is shared with third parties.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical analysis to improve our website). Since no device access occurs, consent under § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) is not required.

You may object to this processing at any time by contacting us at the email address above.

4. Google Analytics (Consent Required)

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics is only activated after you provide explicit consent via our cookie banner.

When activated, Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze your use of the website. The information generated is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA. We have enabled IP anonymization, so your IP address is truncated within the EU before transmission.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of 10 July 2023).

You can revoke your consent at any time through the cookie settings on our website. You can also prevent data collection by Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
